Your financial life deserves a vault, not a data business.
Priszim is a subscription. That one fact sets everything else: you’re the customer, not the product. No ads, no data resale, no “free” app quietly monetizing your transaction history. Here’s exactly how your data is protected, in plain language, with nothing hidden in a footnote.
How your data is protected.
Isolated by architecture
Every Priszim account lives in its own separate database, not one big shared pool with a customer-ID column. Your data is structurally separated from every other customer’s, by design rather than by query discipline.
Bank credentials never touch us
Bank connections run through Plaid. Priszim never sees or stores your bank password. Plaid hands us an access token instead, and that token is encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM.
Read-only
Priszim can see your transactions and balances. It can never move money, pay anyone, or change anything at your bank. There is no transfer button because there is no transfer capability.
Scrubbed before AI
Before any question reaches the AI, structured sensitive data (SSN and SIN patterns, card numbers, account-and-routing sequences, emails, phone numbers) is redacted. The model sees visible [REDACTED] markers and last-4 context, never the values. This is one defensive layer among several, not a compliance certification.
Your password, hardened
Your Priszim password is bcrypt-hashed and never stored in plain text; we couldn’t read it if we wanted to. Optional two-factor authentication (TOTP) adds a second lock on top.
Delete everything
One request wipes your transactions, accounts, conversations, and the account itself. CCPA (California) and PIPEDA (Canada) deletion rights are honored for everyone, not just where the law forces our hand.
What leaves the server, and why.
Most apps won’t show you this list. Ours is short enough to publish. These are the only outbound destinations for your data. It is the complete list, not the highlights.

That’s the whole list. No ad networks, no analytics brokers, no data resale. Nothing else goes to anyone, ever.
Even Priszim’s demo mode is honest: it runs fully scripted, with zero external calls. Try-before-you-connect means exactly that.
