Priszim Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Priszim (the "Service," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or otherwise using Priszim, whether through our iOS app or our web application, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated here by reference. If you don't agree, please don't use Priszim.
2. The service
Priszim is personal financial organization software for cross-border life. It helps you connect, import, categorize, and understand your financial information (balances, transactions, budgets, and investments) across US and Canadian accounts, and it includes an AI assistant that answers questions grounded in your own data.
Priszim organizes and packages information. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice; it does not determine your legal or tax obligations; and it does not prepare or file tax returns. Where Priszim surfaces something that touches a cross-border tax or compliance topic, it's framed as preparation for a conversation with your own qualified professional, never as a determination that a form is or isn't required. 3. Eligibility & account responsibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use Priszim. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us right away at support@priszim.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
Each Priszim account is provisioned as its own isolated tenant on our servers. Priszim is for your own personal use; you agree not to share your account or grant access to it beyond what these Terms allow.
4. Subscriptions & billing
Priszim is offered as a single subscription plan, with no tiers and no add-ons, at $12.99 per month or $99.99 per year, with a 7-day free trial. Subscriptions are sold and billed exclusively through the Apple App Store as an in-app purchase. Apple, not Priszim, is the merchant of record: your payment method is held by Apple, charged by Apple, and managed through your Apple ID account settings, not through Priszim directly.
Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before renewal. If you don't cancel before the 7-day trial ends, your first charge is processed by Apple automatically. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription; cancel in your Apple ID settings.
Refunds for purchases made through the App Store are handled by Apple under Apple's own policies; see our Refund Policy for how to request one.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Priszim for any unlawful purpose, including fraud, tax evasion, or money laundering.
- Attempt to access another account's data, or circumvent authentication, rate limits, or tenant isolation.
- Scrape, crawl, or place automated load on the Service beyond normal personal use.
- Probe, scan, or attempt to breach the security of any Priszim system.
- Resell, sublicense, or otherwise transfer your access to anyone else.
6. Your data & license to operate the service
Priszim is a hosted service. The financial data you connect or import (account balances, transactions, budgets, holdings) is stored in a database isolated to your account on our servers; it does not live on your device and it is not self-hosted. You retain ownership of your data. By using Priszim, you grant us the limited right to process that data as needed to operate, secure, and support the Service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you connect or enter, and for verifying anything you intend to rely on, with a qualified professional where appropriate, before acting on it.
7. Third-party services
Priszim relies on a small number of third parties to work:
- Plaid, if you choose to connect a bank account. You authenticate directly with Plaid (Priszim never sees your bank login credentials), and Plaid's own terms and privacy policy apply to that connection.
- Anthropic, which processes requests to power the AI assistant.
- Market-data providers, to price investments and crypto holdings.

8. AI features
Priszim's AI assistant answers questions using your own financial data. It is an assistant, not a financial advisor, investment advisor, tax professional, or fiduciary, and it can make mistakes. 9. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
Priszim is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every insight, categorization, or AI answer will be accurate. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Priszim is not liable for financial decisions you make based on information from Priszim, or for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
10. Termination
You can delete your account at any time, from within the app or by emailing support@priszim.com. Deleting your account revokes any connected bank tokens and destroys your isolated account database. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, for example by attempting to access another account's data.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll post the change here with a new "Last updated" date, and for material changes, we'll email active subscribers.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Priszim is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your home jurisdiction requires otherwise.
